| The Friendship story |
Friendship Hospital for Animals opened its doors in February of 1997. The hospital passed the rigorous American Animal Hospital Association review and became the youngest accredited member in the United States in March of 1997. In September of 2000, Friendship was awarded the highest AAHA accreditation, one which is given to only 5% of veterinary hospitals in the United States.
Our goal is to provide excellent care to our clients and their pets. To achieve this goal, we have state-of-the-art equipment as represented by a full in-house laboratory, x-ray machine with a rapid processor for immediate results, and a dental x-ray machine. We are the only small animal veterinary hospital in Fort Collins that has an in-house ultrasound machine with telemedicine capabilities. Additionally, we have a separate surgery suite with the latest in anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices. Our boarding facilities are reserved for our patients with medical needs. | Friendship is environmentally friendly! |
| All of the power that we use comes from wind farms. We are the only veterinary hospital in Fort Collins to be fully powered by this clean energy source. Materials in the hospital that are recyclable (i.e. paper, plastic bottles, aluminum, etc.) are recycled on a regular basis.
