

- In February of 1997, Dr. Cat Cross and three staff members opened Friendship Hospital for Animals in a 1600-square foot office space in the Oakridge Shopping Center.
- In March of 1997, Friendship passed the rigorous American Animal Hospital Association review and became the youngest accredited member in the United States.
- In August of 2000, through community support, Friendship moved across the street and opened the doors to a state-of-the-art, 4,000-square foot facility.
- In April of 2008, Friendship was awarded the highest level of AAHA accreditation, one which is given to only 5% of veterinary hospitals in the United States.
